One butterfly down, kaboodles to go!
I was going to start on a rune casting cloth next, but it’s been a busy couple of weeks for me, and that’s reflected in what I chose instead.
In the past 12 days, I flew to another country, got married, flew back, and packed up and moved to a new home in a third country. I was planning on none of this as of June 20. I’m happy, but tired. 🙂
As for what all that has to do with my new project choice, my husband (that’s going to take getting used to saying!) asked me to do a project from start to finish in our new home that we can get framed and hang up here. A rune cloth isn’t for hanging up, so I pushed it back one slot. He chose this project, to my great surprise. Butterflies were a curveball coming from him first of all, and there’s no model photo with the chart, so he chose it without either of us really knowing what it’s going to look like. Based on one butterfly so far out of the kaboodles, he chose well. I’m enjoying the little mystery, too.
I don’t know a lot about the chart. It’s from the DMC website — I assume from the French version, given that the instructions are in French first — but I can’t find it there, so I don’t have a designer or even the right title for it. It’s been in my stash for a while.
