WIP: The Starry Night (14)

The black streak in the cypress tree is the right color, and it’s supposed to define the shape of the trunk divide, but I hate how loud it is. I’ll probably pull it and replace it with a dark gray that won’t stand out quite so much.

I got a pleasant surprise as I started this panel; the lower panels are charted about half the height of the upper ones, so I’m far more than halfway done.

    • I’ve been following this one very, very closely mostly because of how strange the use of colors is; I don’t think it would be hard to mess something up by changing how a combination works together. This is the first instance that didn’t work itself out in the doing.
